Signal Spec Life in TC\\IC 1\2
Wednesday, August 20, 2008
Hi all. I'm currently poste to Signal Specialist Course. Doing Infocomms 2 in Tactical Communications Company at Stagmont Camp. Its a freaking boring course. I sat at a computer chair the whole freaking day and all i did was to read physics.
We have early RO at 6pm but from there we have nth to do but to sit in bunk and rot. We are treated slightly lousier than SISPEC personnel. There seems to be a lack of respect for SISPEC. Signals is a different class of its own. They live in their own world.
Studying my army life away seems ok. But to do it at such a pace at such a camp in such an environment studying such stuff is really a bit too...... sigh.
The only good thing about facing the computer is at times we are given some allowance in wat we do. But frankly i rather be in ASLC. Im not suited to such a life. I rather be doing some bit of PT. Rather than slog it out here rotting. So close to civilisation yet so far.
Just studying physics yesterday can bring back memories of Physics lessons. THe beautiful times we had with Mrs Leo. Samuel always talking back. Yong Xian always so pro. Wensi always equally pro. So many people so many faces. So many friends so much fun.
Now all i have is this comp and self study for hours. I wish i had Mrs Leo to teach me again.
Let's go back to school for MAF and Ke Ai Ji or Curry Wok! Wouldn't it be nice?
