Papi Reflections 2

Hihi! Here's your beloved Papi again! Whenever you read Hylden's post, you are all jiggled up right? Rightttt. Anyway, this will be a a relatively short post, since Hylden kinda figured people don't like to read chunks of paragraphs.
So how does the day start? No car crashes, but got one car got stopped by the side by traffic police for speeding. Haiz...CNY so gan cheong for wad....not like someone die on CNY....hehehe touchwood. So I head over to the Tampines area which is very cold and quiet as compared to Yishun / Jurong East and other interesting places in Sg. My 2nd uncle on mother's side has already whipped up several dishes, all prepared and arranged in an order on the dinner table. Then we all come in, straight away eat lolz, a bit no manners, But nvm. So how should Papi describe the dishes? Here's how Hylden ranked them in descending order of taste..
1. Pork legs with skin and all + egg
2. Eggs and mushrooms
3. Mushrooms + meat steamed in a fashion that they lumped together dunno what it's called
4. Chicken (yeah a whole spring chicken head to leg)
5. Fishball soup
6. Dunno what it's called....spongy, yellow thingy in a circle with meatballs inside
7. Veggies, yeah just veggies
8. Steamed fish with celery dressing (I hate fishhhhh)
And it's like 2 bowls of each type Hylden listed above, so imagine 16 bowls on the table. In the end, we got to keep the leftovers to bring home for dinner. ^^
After that, went to chun dao he ban. Remembered last time went was like 7 or 8. Ate some sticky malt candy which tends to stretch and then adhere to my chin. Got stuck in the goatee like zomg. Use tissue, tissue also sticks there. Zomgggg. $1 for all these trouble. Then buy some bing1 tang2 hu2 lu2. From some olden mandarin shows, they seem to make it sound like it's a all-in-wonder candy like that. Then I eat....yucks, pui4! So many dates and seeds in one ball! Imagine how many seeds in a whole stick of balls! There are also many angmohs and non-chinese there too, makes me feel gd abt being a Sgrean. Note: Papi usually isn't supportive of gov actions but this is an exception.
Was looking out for some Valentine Day's gifts and cheap cheap one. A pair of stylish "styrofoam" slippers - $5. Not bad. One windchime with cute dolphins and a moon. $19. Looks cool. And got one bu4 dao3 weng1. $2. Got some ppl carving names on keychains on the spot too. Hmm, chun dao he ban really looks like a gd place for guys to bring their gfs out. Yeah, just telling some of you guys :D. Wenjie gambatteyo! (Anybody not happy with the last line can moderate that out)
