Yay, it’s my turn. Drats, I had the idea of writing this first but Lim Yuan took the lead (or maybe she thought of it earlier? Argh, nevermind). I am apologetic with the refusal to engage in some activities that the class does such as the skipping of lessons, slacking off during Entrepreneurship Day altogether; that doesn't mean I condone it. I am also sorry for being so busy with my CCA and some other work most of the time that I am unable to join the class for lunch and breaks most of the time.

Dunjie: Glad to get to know a potential business–kind of person so talented in music. Thank you for asking extremely interesting questions that have helped me exercise logic as well as my knowledge of a vast variety of subjects. I hope you have gained from my answers and are spurred to work from the countless conversations with you that involved lots of advice and encouragement. I wish you the best for studies, which you seem to be most worried about, as well as huge success in music (which you seem least worried).
Aw Yong: Sorry I still choose to call you 'Aw Yong', it seriously feels better than calling you Zhi Yong, because you would sound like an old friend this way. Thanks for being such a great Geography Rep this year and tolerating with all the nonsensical excuses I have come up with to postpone my debt repayment date for Geography Notes. Yea, and thanks so much for being one of the few people who accompany me to have lunch at canteen when the rest of the class dine somewhere else.
De Ren: My Math buddy! Though Lim Yuan seems to have taken over my job of helping you. I am not sure if I have helped you much but I guess we all agree that we are so glad we won the Fishtank vouchers that saved us a meal. We were classmates previously though I guess I havenn't really get to know you then, given our naivety (and ignorance) at that time. I remember you were extremely great (better grades than me!) so please don't give up! Work hard for this final lap and show everyone you can do it!
Chun Kang: Classmates from Primary School! Oh my god, I can't really believe I have known you for so long although we were never very close but enough to have our mothers know each other (LOL!). I am sorry I find the prefect I met during Primary 3 (catching me for entering classrooms during recess) and classmate who sits beside me for most of the time in Primary 5 & 6, still seems as irritating as ever most of the time, though I must admit that you are serious enough whenever you are expected to be. Thanks for all the lame jokes you have formulated that has elicited giggles from me and you need to understand that Coronation isn't really the best place to have your lunch all the time.
Yu Shan: Nice to have you as a fellow geog-er and to know you. Not so because your dad is the ST editor but the maturity you exhibit in treating life itself. Sorry if all my conversations with you ended up forcing you to think about life, future, society and non–teenage stuff, or at the most basis level – schoolwork. I suppose I didn't bore you out. Haha. I think you are still well suited to talk about them! Hope you find out where you are heading for and what you'll be doing in future and work on that!
Chee Jia: Objective, really neutral and impressively nonchalant about everything. I think you have really helped me see many logical flaws whenever I have them when I bring up some stuff to talk about (Hey, not heretic but a good critical friend to have!). Having you and Yu Shan in addition to the original 5 geog-ers have been really nice and I guess we are all glad to have more around to experience the freaky silence of Miss Li's tutorials and Miss Ong's chit–chat sessions.
Puay Hian: You are just imbar intelligent and sometimes tyco with all the different stuff people do in academic world (like performing mathematical problem solving). You taught me many things about arguments and logic but I thought it'd be nice to caution you that pushing an argument too far is really dangerous because that's what I have done in many of my GP essays and Miss Cheong personally cited that as a problem for me. At the same time, you need to check for logical consistency and account for the real world. Be careful of the terms you have chosen to mean the different things you mean because others may not get it. But thanks so much for some of the most endless debates on MSN in my life!
Wen Sheu: I want my bag and my sit at the class bench! So please don't ask me that evil question in the mornings okay? Thanks for being the subject of humour for me sometimes when De Ren or Wenjie decides to poke fun of you (ie. your skin color) but frankly, I never insulted you with that so please hold nothing against me. As a Rep, I need to thank you for being the World Bank for class loans sometimes when I need to collect notes. Yes, and the effort to shout 'Class stand' for the whole of this year.
Pei Shan: I think I have to agree with Lim Yuan that you are the Da Jie of the class but most importantly, I think you have done a really great job as the CT rep this year and you should consider about exercising such leadership in your future career (Boring crap, so I shan't elaborate). Thank you for offering the most insightful ideas in both Human and Physical Geography which I often go on to expand beyond your initial point; but nonetheless, I have to be grateful to you for giving me the triggers for more thinking in Geography. I hope I have done the same for you in our discussions and whenever we two are working on an essay question together. Thanks for all the hard work for the class.
Yong Xian: Thank you for believing in my abilities and thus approaching me when you need help with work. I hope that I have given you the help you need for you to maximize your abilities in academic work, as well as the advice (heeded or otherwise) about life that you probably would not care to remember (who cares about my old man talk anyway). You have been a kind and great class treasurer (contrast to someone else) – thanks for being there to provide the timely input of funds for the purchase of our Economics notes (huge rip–off amounting to about $350 over bucks by now, thanks to the profiteering Photocopy Shop). I'll hope that your future business is a success – maybe you like to try entering the photocopying business. I'll invest in your business if I have the money (no, I don't want to be your employee) so that I can be a co–boss.
Lim Yuan: Haha. In retrospect we really have lots in common and it's great getting to meet a friend like you. Seriously glad you are not bored out by the typically boring stuff I'd talk about and make more interesting (or so you claimed :P). I really won't be kind enough to loan out almost every single tutorial to almost everyone in the class, or to help everyone with all sorts of things when they need help. For that, I salute you for the amazing kindness you displayed. And if you were to attribute this to God's blessings – I really thank God I see the greatness and nobility of His creation through you. Thanks for the simple–but–nice class tee, the class cheer, the many little things you have done for 6D (I wonder where the dumb class banner we created went). You'll do really well in life and I'm sure, God will be blessing you.
Ruiyuan: I am not going to call you 'xiao luo', so don't worry. Thank you for your real hard work with preparing Geography essays most of the time and also lending me to copy (I have reason to believe that the most work I ever copied from anyone else is Geography, from you). Also, thanks for teaching me little tricks on the computer and informing me of small softwares or plugins or whatever that has allowed me customize my computer and help me work better. I have also gained much general knowledge from you, more inclined towards entertainment, technology and perhaps random Geography kind of news occasionally. Thanks also for tolerating with my sarcasm when I unintentionally niao you sometimes (okay, maybe it's actually intentional most of the time).
Wee Chern: Great conversation friend! I enjoyed spending the time talking to you about philosophy, how we should be conducting ourselves, our lives and being true to ourselves. And also the less chim matters too, about our future, about random schoolwork, about almost anything under the sun. Hey, I really hope to visit you one of these days lor. Really sad I didn't get to know you better during Secondary 3 & 4 but glad I have entered the same class as you in JC to really know you. You have offered me great advice (sometimes unknowingly) and gave me the encouragement I need. And yes, happy to have you accompany me for lunch at the canteen when no one wants to eat with me and sometimes even when Chun Kang urge you to go Coro to eat with him. Great 6D volleyball coach as well!
Wen Jie: Sorry sorry sorry Wen Jie! I have this feeling that I am sarcastic with you most of the time, and I am constantly reminded by Ruiyuan that I often niao your height (although I can't really recall these moments). I am really impressed with your happy and very relaxed attitude towards almost everything. Although we didn't do much stuff together, I remember the times when we had great fun with Floorball and I was really glad whenever you were in the same team as me. Don't understand your enthusiasm about soccer though, I am not sure if that's an interest you are going to pursue but whatever your pursuit, just go for it.
Jia Hao: At first I thought a 4H guy would be some mugger (sorry for stereotyping) but I understand the kind of competition you all were subjected to that made you all so. Happy to get to know one more Chinese High boy whom I didn't get to know during my time in High School. I guess you really kept a low profile huh? Somehow I am always extra happy to befriend left–handers because I find you all really special (pardon my weird ideas). Thanks for all the efforts with collecting and distributing Chemistry notes this year and I have to apologize if I undermine your authority by collecting notes on your behalf or become naggy when it comes to urging you to collect new stuff. I am really sorry about it, I have to admit sometimes I get too concerned with unimportant stuff.
Pan Lin: Sorry I don't speak much to you but I seriously think you should practise less isolation. United States only start its true boom after getting out of isolation. I have a feeling you might not read this anyway. So I'll keep it short. Haha.
Kwang Guan: Thought you were ultra mugger and super kiasu but I guess I was wrong. Happy to have you as H3 mate, providing me with all the intelligent answers to some of the H3 questions I have problems with. Let's hope both of us aced this H3. I am glad see your curiosity about things around and your spirit of inquiry, which at times spur me on to explore new terrains that mainstream syllabus would have no interest in. Wish we could do some social science research together some time in the future. Sorry about the times I may have been harsh with criticizing your ideas or unintentionally making personal attacks – challenges to my ideas are embraced. And please, stop the Geog God nonsense and you all are nice critical friends to have – not heretics!
Wei Chung: You are a deep person who should think more and be really concerned with the future. You make a great pragmatic friend to keep hopeful ideas in check and criticize bad ideas (although lame and offensive humour is not appreciated). Sorry I think I don't talk much to you even though we had mini–conversations and a rather long one before the Jun Hols (or was it after BT2?). I would be glad to know you better though.
Yi Da: Great to have potential Perm Sec as a friend but as you know, having friends in high places usually doesn’t help as much as being in high places yourself so I am glad to have you as a friend not because of your ambitions but your spirit and persistence in your ideals. It’s really rare to find people with such strong character and rather arcane inclinations but I really support your ideas (the less extreme ones) and I apologize for tossing any insults at your conceptions of the future. I believe you have become more of a realist these days and I am sure you are on your way to your goal, the way
Singapore did to succeed, step by step, as Ngiam Tong Dow said.
Peng Sing: It nice to have someone to speak to when you suspect your ideas may be obscure and not well appreciated by the mainstream. I guess you have been a great friend if not pal when it comes to discussions fringing philosophy, psychology, logic, and almost everything under the sun but outside school. I guess our atheist inclinations have pulled us to concur with people like Richard Dawkins and set the basis for our conversations. Perhaps like all the rest of the class, I guess you may need to rein your emotions a bit more – gaming has probably affected your frontal lobes.
Samuel: Can talk all sorts of endless crap with you about practically everything and I am really glad to meet a person whose sarcasm has evolved way beyond myself. I’d gladly adopt your means of insulting everything for my arguments whenever I am trying to put down some stuff. I have to apologize for being too rational and logical at times (I know you don’t like it), and when I am too serious at the wrong times – sorry my sensors are not working very well.
Max: Despite being in the same class as you for 4 years, I am rather sure I haven’t known you well. I guess I have found you pretty irritating at times and very intelligent in other occasions. I am sure the class would be less boring without you but perhaps you really should think twice before entertaining yourself in the expense of De Ren or Lim Yuan. You jokes can be really hurtful sometimes. You are seriously freaking mean most of the time.
Wensi: Oh my God! I missed you out for about 5 minutes before adding you in and even so it’s after you remind me (through Yong Xian). It’s great getting back into the same class as a Primary 6 classmate but I guess you have changed very much. It’ll be real nice to discuss literature with you but I guess I am out of touch with fiction and I would need more time than 24 hours per day in my life now to get back to the fiction world. Thanks for teaching me more about people (sharks, this line makes me sound like I am a robot with freaking low EQ) and I have to apologize again for leaving you out of this list for the first 10 minutes of its existence. Please forgive me, it’s not like you still hate LT3 for putting a dark cloud above you during the rainy days – another randomness you have helped inject into my life.
Wang Ren: Thanks for all the hard work with any pair work I have done with you and it has been great discussing philosophy, sophisticated theoretical physics with you. I have really learnt much about the more advance research and some of the super–properties of different things. I hope I helped you with any questions you have asked me and really sorry for those which I offer no answers to.
Weiye: So many things to thank you about. You are probably the first girl in the class I got to know better and worked together for the most work in school (ignoring Project Work as a huge thing). Thanks for all the help rendered to me in the course of our CCA during Huang Cheng and for Sensorium Vale when I may occasionally end up commanding you around (Sorry! :P); as well as trusting my abilities by asking me questions on school work and project kind of stuff. You are really very hardworking and given my beliefs about hard work and achievements, I am sure you’ll get to wherever you hope to be.

While it’s probably a little early to say all these, I felt I need to enter some kind of isolation after the National Day Holidays so I guess this is really the best opportunity to express my gratitude to everyone for everything all these time. I do miss the days when we had time to crap at class bench, (for the geog-ers) waited for the physics students on Fridays after a short session of Miss Ong's chit-chat, or when we sit in a circle at the back of the other classes in the Hall during PE lesson and waited for Miss Chen to make us move, or the times when we were niao-ing Yi Da because Mr Lee was too respectful to him, or when we built a blue Artemis Can tower during National Day last year and many many more...
Please forgive me if I really dao you guys after these few days – I really think I need time to consolidate all my stuff. Ruiyuan claims you all will ask thought-provoking questions enough to challenge me intellectually such that I have to attempt to answer you all to satisfy my curiosity. Well, let’s see.
